She's number one in our book! ❤️
Help us congratulate West Bladen High School CTE Business Teacher Elizabeth Roberson on being named one of just 24 finalists for the North Carolina CTE Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Roberson recently represented Bladen County Schools at the state level, participating in a week of professional development through the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT). The experience brought together CTE educators from across the state for hands-on learning, innovative instructional strategies and opportunities to explore the many career pathways connected to Career and Technical Education.
As part of the experience, Mrs. Roberson also participated in the three-stage interview process to help select the next North Carolina CTE Teacher of the Year. On October 29, the 24 finalists were recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom, laboratory and Career and Technical Student Organizations.
We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Roberson, not only for earning this well-deserved recognition, but also for the way she represented West Bladen High School and Bladen County Schools throughout this experience.
Mrs. Roberson, you're number one in our book! We can't wait to see you bring your new ideas, experiences and knowledge back to your students. Thank you for all you do to prepare the next generation for success!
